PTR launced as a spin off of the powertrain division from the Weigl Group GmbH and named 'Prazisionstechnik Reichenback GmbH'.

Taken over by Swetec Deutschland GmbH.

Acquired by MAT and renamed 'Prazisionstechnik Resources Altenburg GmbH'.
