Year of Apprenticeship: 3
Luke applied to for the MAT Foundry Group apprentice scheme because he wanted to be hands on with his learning and had an interest in both automotive and manufacturing.
Currently working on the melters, Luke has enjoyed working across the business as well as the associated training and certifications that MAT Foundry Group has provided.
Although it isn’t just certifications that Luke has gained, feeling that he has matured greatly over the last 3 years and developed a strong work ethic.
Luke wants to complete his apprenticeship and become a metallurgist at Eurac, Poole.
In his free time Luke enjoys road cycling and is an avid movie fan.
