Apprentice Activity Day
Take a look back on action packed day for MAT Foundry apprentices...
I chose to start an apprenticeship because I didn't want to go to university and I thought this was the best thing for me.
I've always been interested in working in the automotive industry and I've always wanted to be an ecltrical engineer and this seemed the best way for me to do so.
I thought it was time I did something I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. I'd like to work my way up here and see where it takes me.
I chose to do an apprenticeship because it allowed me to be hands on, which is something that I really enjoy.
MAT Foundry Group Graduation Schemes
Find out what life's like for those embarking on the MAT Foundry Graduation Scheme...
I chose to do an apprenticeship because I felt like it was the best avenue for me, I wanted to earn and learn at the same time and develop my skills.
I would like to thank MAT and Eurac for giving me the opportunity to work here. It has been great working in the foundry and getting involved into exciting projects.
I personally would recommend the management trainee programme to anyone who is self-sufficient and wants to build their own career. I've been given more freedom in this role than any other I've previously been in.
I would like to thank MAT for giving me this incredible opportunity - not only the valuable work experiecne but also the chance to travel the world.
