  • To conduct reviews on process effectiveness, recording measurements and data.
  • Overseeing and assessing new and existing processes and workflows.
  • Liaise with personnel at all levels to help reduce scrap, reduce manufacturing costs, and reduce non-value-added waste.
  • Preparing process documentation and operating instructions
  • To develop and expand on industry 4.0 technologies.
  • To become a facilitator of process and operational improvements across the MAT Foundry Group.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • A background and/or qualifications in Quality, Manufacturing, foundry Process, or Metallurgy is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate at all levels in English (verbal and written)
  • A second language would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to lead themselves, but also a strong team player.
  • Confident decision maker with the ability to canvas a range of robust viewpoints and make critical decisions based on best available data.
  • An ability to re-evaluate decisions as data emerges or evolves.
  • Confidence to travel independently.
